Subject: Securing New Premises for the Greek Orthodox Community of Saint Andrew
Beloved in Christ,
I am delighted to share the wonderful news that we have successfully secured new premises (previously known as the Catholic parish of St John located in Egham Hythe) for our community which are dedicated to the Holy Epiphany & Saint Andrew! As previously informed nearly two years ago and these past few months and weeks during the course of the homilies, we have been working diligently to find a place and a location that will better serve our community and the people of God.
Through God’s grace and the blessing, support and canonical authorisation of His Eminence our Archbishop Nikitas, we are now ready to move forward with this important step in our journey. This new space will provide us with the opportunity to expand our ministries, host services, and create a welcoming environment for worship, fellowship, spiritual growth and outreach. Equally important, this is a fantastic milestone in the life of our parish—an answered prayer, and a foundation for future generations.
This new space is both a gift and a responsibility—an opportunity to continue the sacred work begun by those who came before us. We take this moment to honour and thank the previous generation who first established our community with courage and dedication. Their sacrifices, vision, and commitment laid the foundation upon which we now stand. It is because of their devotion that we have a legacy to carry forward.
Before we can begin worshipping regularly in this new space, essential work must be carried out. We need to replace windows glasses and doors, upgrade the security systems, and ensure the building is both safe and welcoming. These repairs are necessary not only to preserve the dignity of our worship but to create a space where everyone feels secure and embraced.
To make this transition successful, we will need your continued support and cooperation. Here are a few ways you can help:
· Volunteer Opportunities: We will be organising volunteer days to help with the setup, moving and preparation of the new premises. Your participation will be invaluable.
· Financial Support: As we transition, we will need to address various costs associated with moving and setting up the new space. Any financial contributions, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Donations may be sent to: Name: Greek Orthodox Community of St Andrew –Sort Code: 40-47-37-Account No: 81228870. Or, alternatively, you may give through our website: www.apostolosandreaswindsor.com/donation or by scanning the QR code at the bottom of this letter. Kindly include your name with your donation, as this will not appear otherwise. Please also share with us the details of your gift—community or individual name, date, and amount—for our records and prayers of thanksgiving.

We are excited about the future and the opportunities this new location will bring. Let us come together as a community to support one another and build a vibrant spiritual home for all.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and dedication.
NB: More details will follow soon.
Until then, may we walk forward together with faith, unity, and love. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.
With heartfelt blessings and paternal love,
